Vinification of Braida Montebruna Barbera d'Asti The Barbera grapes for this red wine come from the Montebruna vineyard in Rocchetta Tanaro. After careful harvesting of the grapes, the picked fruit is immediately brought to the winery. At controlled temperature, the must ferments on the skins for 2 weeks in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by maturation in wood: this wine is aged for a total of 24 months in large oak barrels (20, 35 and 55 hl).
