The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the clay- and marl-dominated soils. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Here the vines drive their roots deep into soils of clay and marl. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden casks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the powerful Riserva Merlot Colli Orientali 1.5 l Magnum is aged for another 36 months in 500 l oak barrels.
