In this weather pattern, the Pinot Gris grape variety in particular tends to develop too much body and less elegance. But the Wöhrles remain true to their lean, delicate style. The nose reveals classic stone fruit aromas such as ripe Williams pear and yellow apple, as well as apricot and orange. The intense fruit is underscored by nutty aromas with phenolic hints. On the palate, plenty of punch and power, the high mineral content, and balanced acidity provide a fitting counterpart. This also brings out the house's typical elegance and finesse. A kind of playful power wine and a long-distance runner. This wine needs some time to show you what it can do.
