Riesling VDP.Gutswein Edytion Karl Haidle

Directly above the winery towers the Stettener Y-Burg (castle). EDYTION owes its Y to it. Moritz Haidle produces this small batch exclusively for us. The vines are rooted in heavy, fertile soils of Gipskeuper and Lower Bunte Marl. The hand-picked grapes are gently pressed and then spontaneously fermented. The wine matures on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks until bottling. Yellow fruit and meadow herbs dominate the nose. The palate displays a taut acidity that contrasts beautifully with the residual sweetness. A juicy and delicately fruity Riesling with floral notes and a mineral finish.
