The sweet Portugieser and Dornfelder are characterized by their particularly fruity and velvety character. Aromas of red berries and milk chocolate predominate. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, they indulge the palate with a pleasant smoothness without losing their juicy vibrancy. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the press house, where they are carefully selected and gently opened. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the sweet Portugieser and Dornfelder can rest on the fine lees for several months to continue to mature harmoniously.
