The vines at the UNGEHEUER site are approximately 40 years old and grow on dark basalt, resulting in a unique depth of aroma and delicate structure. This Große Lage combines the fruitiness of Deidesheim wines with the smoky, mineral notes of the Forst vineyards. On the nose, the Riesling displays a complex blend of smoky and nutty notes, along with yellow fruits such as mango and passion fruit. On the palate, salinity, exotic fruits, and an impressively fresh acidity. A long finish full of power and complexity.
