The combination of the different terroirs results in a wonderfully concentrated, expressive wine.Carneros' cooler climate and clay soils provide elegant fruit, while the increasingly warm elevations of the upper valley provide the dark fruit flavors that Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is known for. A small proportion of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Merlot provide depth and complexity.
