Enselberg Spätburgunder 1G - Franz Keller

The well-ventilated west-facing site, with its spectacular views of the Rhine plain, is significantly influenced by its subsoil, which is partly lighter and partly darker and stony volcanic rock. A fine layer of loess forms the topsoil. Two vineyards, planted in 1999 and 2003 with 100% Burgundian Pinot Noir clones, produce a fine and elegant Pinot Noir. Aromas of wild berries, mocha, and licorice on the nose, fresh acidity and fine tannins on the palate.
