The Vermentino Superiore Belguardo V from Mazzei is the result of an advanced research project, transplanting Vermentino clones from Corsica into Tuscany, and is born in vineyards located on the Grosseto hills.It is produced exclusively with Vermentino grapes, harvested at the beginning of September and fermented at a low temperature of about 16°C for 30 days.It exhibits the most extreme characteristics of Tyrrhenian Vermentino. Sunny, with great sapidity and good minerality, it has hints of yellow-fleshed fruits and exotic fruits, enriched by notes of almond and honey. On the palate, it reveals all its structure, leaving a pleasant bitter note, typical of the grape variety, on the finish.Perfect for accompanying fish-based dishes and tasty white meats, it is ideal with creamy risottos and porcini mushrooms.
