Pinot Noir Superiore Brusafer comes from vineyards located on the hilly belt of Trento and between the towns of Povo, Besagno and Cazzano, on the slopes of Monte Baldo, in the heart of the Trentino DOC. The name of this wine, which derives from the Trentino word brüsafer, referring to the blacksmith trade, evokes the incandescence of the fire and is inspired by the cannon batteries of the ancient fort of the same name, not far from which the Cavit vineyards are located. It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, traditionally vinified in red. The wine is left to age in tonneaux and oak barriques before being bottled. Pinot Noir Superiore Brusafer. takes on a bright ruby red color. It expresses a complex and elegant aromatic range, which gives the nose hints of ripe cherry and spices. The taste is fruity and velvety, persistent in the finish. This Pinot Noir goes very well with roasts, game and spicy cheeses.
