“Palazzo Lana Extrême” Franciacorta Riserva by Berlucchi is made from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from selected vineyards in Borgonato, cultivated at high density to best express elegance and depth. This Riserva represents one of Franciacorta’s finest expressions, characterized by great structure and longevity.The winemaking process involves a gentle pressing of the free-run must with fermentation in stainless steel, followed partly by aging in barriques in contact with the lees. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, with a long period on the lees that imparts complexity and finesse, followed by further aging after disgorgement.In the glass, it displays a deep straw yellow color with golden highlights and an extremely fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it delivers elegant aromas of white flowers and citrus fruit, while on the palate it stands out for freshness, structure, and pronounced savoriness, with a long, harmonious finish.It pairs perfectly with structured dishes, important first courses, stewed fish, and meat main courses.
