The Garnacha Tintorera grape variety, also known as Alicante Bouschet, provides fruit, juice and, above all, the deep dark color. That is why it is often used as a cuvée partner. Here it also shows its full potential as a single variety. As is so often the case, the secret is to reduce yield. Fine nose of black cherries, herbs and eucalyptus. Lots of juice and body in the mouth with silky tannins, some leather and iodine at the same time. With all the abundance, you can taste a delicate, almost ethereal freshness. Very nicely done.
