Russell Orchards - Ipswich, MA Russell Orchards - Ipswich, MA Formerly Goodale Orchards - Same Ownership Since 1979 Apple Picking is now closed to the public. Due to drought conditions, the crop was early this year and the pick-your-own orchards are completely picked out. Thanks you to all of our customers who came to pick apples. We appreciate your support and patronage, and look forward to another great season of apple picking next year. The apples and peaches are gorgeous! See our calendar page for this year's schedule of events. Be sure to come by to visit the animals and have a cider donut (or a half dozen!). Mark your calendar for the Wine Festival November 9-10. See calendar page for details. Maureen Russell on WBOQ's Daybreak Morning Show (9/02) Apple pickers

West County Cider Winery West County Cider Winery West County Cider, nestled in the Northern Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, continues the centuries-old cider making tradition and adds some modern refinements. We provide a wide variety of hard ciders for the table, from very dry to very sweet. Some have a champagne-like flavor, while others are more robust, with tannins from traditional American and European cider apples. Still others blend other fruits, such as raspberry and blueberry. We use fruit from our own orchard of traditional and untraditional cider varieties in addition to those grown by other New England orchards. New varieties for 2002. West County Ciders
