It comprises 4.6 acres but so far only 3 have been planted - one acre of Bacchus, one of Seyval Blanc and one of Schönburger. The training method is now GDC having initially been traditional Guyot. The Products At Bow-in-the-Cloud Vineyard the wines produced aspire to being sociable and interesting. The vinification is provided under contract by the Three Choirs Vineyard in Newent. 'Hidden Spring Vineyard' Hidden Spring Vineyard Home | Wines | Company ProfileJust outside Horam, in the valley of the Waldron Ghyll, Hidden Spring Vineyard was established in 1987, with further plantings in 1988, adjoining a Soil Association approved organic orchard. The site has well drained downland soil over Tunbridge Wells sand, and slopes gently to the south at about 150 feet above sea level. The site was chosen for its perfect micro-climate for wine growing. A number of underground springs were located during planting, which gave the vineyard its name. The vines are trained as single Guyot, double Guyot, and Scott-Henry systems.
